Unchalli Falls or Lushington Falls
Unchalli falls, beautiful waterfalls is located at a distance of 25 km from Sirsi in Uttara Kannada district.
Unchalli Falls, which is also called Lushington Falls is a waterfall created by a 116 meter drop in Aghanashini River is place in the thickets of the Sahyadri hills of the Western Ghats. Unchalli falls is named after a District Collector, J D Lushington, who discovered the falls in 1845.
This falls is also called as Keppa Joga because of the noisy sound it makes. The noise of the waterfalls hurtling down the hilly area breaks the silence of the forests.

Road: One has to take a turn towards Heggarani at Aminalli on Kumta - Sirsi state highway.
The Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) buses will go up to a place called Heggarani, a dreamy village in Uttara Kannada district.
One has to walk five kilometers from Heggarani through thick forest to reach Unchalli falls.
Jeep is the best mode of transportation.
